This page will be dedicated to sharing information about my books that have been published and those that may be in various stages of progress. On this page, I will share excerpts from my books. Some of these will be the full essay included in a book and others will be shorter introductory portions of essays.

The picture shown is the original barn that my grandfather Silas D. Lee built on our family farm shortly after he and my grandmother Della Brock Lee moved onto the home place in about 1912. This barn survived a tornado in 1972 that tore down a larger and newer barn that stood less than 25 feet away from this one.
