The picture shown is the original barn that my grandfather Silas D. Lee built on our family farm shortly after he and my grandmother Della Brock Lee moved onto the home place in about 1912. This barn survived a tornado in 1972 that tore down a larger and newer barn that stood less than 25 feet away from this one.
